Enjoy a sip of Italy in every glass.
Wherever you are in the World, thanks to DANTE, you can taste a wine rich in history and experience the emotions of being part of a great tradition made up of conviviality, inebriating pleasure and the culture of living well. To do so, DANTE offers you an artisan product, the result of the skilful work of wineries that have chosen to escape the logic of industrialisation and land use. Therefore, this is healthier, more sustainable and natural than the common wine on the market.
A unique excellence, like its characteristics
Even today, in our vineyards, the grapes – always belonging to Italian territory – are harvested by hand with care and attention. Productivity is, therefore, very limited and this allows you to choose only vines of superior quality. After the production phases, strictly “as they once were”, refinement in wooden barrels also takes place in an artisan manner. Experienced winemakers keep an eye on them day by day, watching over the wine-making process. These production methods, the absence of added yeasts and the very low levels of sulphites give each bottle of DANTE wine some peculiarities making it a rare, original and unmistakable wine.
Why choose a pure single-variety?
Unlike most of the wines on the market, which are the result of blending (mixing different grapes) and a certain standardisation of taste, each bottle of DANTE is a single-variety in purity, in other words coming from only one type of grape. A product capable of exalting the distinctive characteristics of each grape variety and that may have significant differences between one vintage and the next. A wine for connoisseurs who choose to taste something unique and unrepeatable.
DANTE for biodiversity
In search of the best soils for production, DANTE actively invests in the renovation of old abandoned vineyards in the heart of Tuscany. The project is in progress and the goal is to extend it to other areas, in parallel with the inclusion of other Italian single-varieties in the DANTE range. The entire crafted production process is designed to be in balance with the environment; from cultivation without pesticides to a zero-emission process from harvesting to bottling.
Moreover, by focusing exclusively on autochthonous single-varieties, the DANTE production aims to maintain the biodiversity that is specific to the territory. The choice of cultivating only original Italian grapes brings the lands of cultivation and harvesting back to their pre-industrial conditions. These choices, contrary to the logic of exploiting the environment and having immediate economic profit, represent Dante’s best investment in the future. In fact, respecting the biological diversity of the vine is the best way to value the extraordinary Italian wine heritage, increasingly threatened by agriculture’s industrialisation and climate change.
With DANTE, drinking well is also good for the environment.
